Parameters that need to be paid attention to when replacing the wheel

1. The hole center diameter (CB) refers to the hub size at the center of the hole. Although the positioner can be installed with hubs with different factory values, we do not recommend this for safety reasons.

2. Pitch circle diameter (PCD) For example, a hub with a pitch circle diameter of 5x120mm means that it has five positioning bolts, and the diameter of the circle formed by them is 120 mm. This value should also match the original manufacturer.

3. OFFSET is also called ET value, which is a positive value, indicating that the fixed surface of the wheel hub is outside the central plane, otherwise it is inside the central plane. The offset value of a car is generally a positive value. This value has a great impact on the driving stability and turning tracking of the car. This is determined by the original factory and cannot be changed unless there is a special need.

4. The diameter and width of the rim determine the size of the rim. Excessive wheel diameters can also scratch the wheel arches and fenders. Therefore, upgrade the wheel hub to be 1 inch larger than the original wheel hub, not more than 2 inches, and match thin tires to ensure that the size of the entire wheel is similar to that before the upgrade. The width affects which tire is selected after the upgrade. Excessively wide tires will reduce the starting speed and consume more fuel. Commonly used values ​​correspond to: a tire with a width of 185 mm corresponds to a rim with a width of 5 inches; 195 mm is equivalent to 6 inches; 205 mm is equivalent to 6.5 inches; 215 is equivalent to 7 inches.
